If you see the things around you with gratitude you are in the process of creating a “happy brain”. Seeing your world and everything in it with gratitude positively affects your brain chemistry.
In fact, filling your mind with gratitude is the quickest and most powerful way of developing a happy brain.
So, don´t just be grateful for the BIG things that happen to you in life…finishing that big project, landing a new client, losing 10 pounds, finding your soul mate. There is really nothing in life that is too small to be grateful for.
The simple truth is being alive is all the reason you need.
By learning to be grateful for what you have – even those things that are so easy to overlook – you create the positive brain chemistry that lifts you up and gives you hope.
And with hope and expectation come the ability to guide your life in the direction you really want to go…
So, look for the wonder and enjoy the moment. Be happy. Most of all, be grateful.
